Connect The Fork App

The Fork


What is it? The Fork app is used to take customer bookings. This can easily be connected to your website, see instructions below.


How to take customer bookings using The Fork:


  1. Visit the URL and create a The Fork account: https://www.theforkmanager.com/en/get-started
  2. Find your The Fork ID and make a note of it somewhere safe.


How to connect The Fork to your website:


  1. Log in to your My Place website by appending /login to your domain (e.g., https://www.yourvenue.com/login).
  2. Click the pencil button in the bottom-right corner to open the edit panel.
  3. Select Primary Button from the menu.
  4. Click + Add Link 
  5. Select a link type, you want to Connect an app
  6. Choose The Fork from the app list.
  7. You will then be asked to provide:
  • Link text - This will be the text that displays on your live website once saved, e.g: Make a Reservation
  • The Fork ID - this can be found in your The Fork account settings.
  1. Click Add link
  2. Finally, select Save Changes to publish this to your website.
