# Connect The Fork App

# The Fork

|| What is it? The Fork app is used to take customer bookings. This can easily be connected to your website, see instructions below.

### How to take customer bookings using The Fork:

1. Visit the URL and create a ***The Fork*** account: **https://www.theforkmanager.com/en/get-started**
2. Find your **The Fork** **ID** and make a note of it somewhere safe.

### How to connect The Fork to your website:

1. **Log in** to your My Place website by appending `/login` to your domain (e.g., `https://www.yourvenue.com/login`).
2. Click the **pencil** button in the bottom-right corner to open the **edit panel**.
3. Select **Primary Button** from the menu.
4. Click **+ Add Link** 
5. Select a link type, you want to** Connect an app**
6. Choose **The Fork** from the app list.
7. You will then be asked to provide:
* **Link text** - This will be the text that displays on your live website once saved, e.g: *Make a Reservation*
* **The Fork ID** - this can be found in your The Fork account settings.
8. Click **Add link**
9. Finally, select **Save Changes** to publish this to your website.
