What is a domain name?
A domain name is your website’s address - what people type to find you online.
It’s like your venue’s sign on the internet.
1. Upgrade to Pro & Add Card Details
- Log in to your My Place account.
- Click the green “Ready to go live? Upgrade to Pro” button at the top of the screen.
- You’ll be prompted to add your business card information.
This step is required before a custom domain can be connected.
2. Log in to IONOS
- Make sure you are logged in to your IONOS account.

- Please click the triple dot icon then click "DNS" as shown in the image:

4. Add Domain Records
- Click Add record.
- You’ll need to add two records, one at a time, using the details below.
- When prompted, you can ignore the TTL field and save the record.
Type | Host Name | Points To |
|---|---|---|
A | @ | 76.76.21.21 |
CNAME | www |
5. Wait for the Connection to Complete
- Your website will begin appearing on your domain after a short period of time.
- Full propagation can take a little while, but everything will now be correctly connected to the My Place app.
