Creating a Sports Fixture Event
Creating & Managing TV Sports Fixtures on Your My Place Website
With My Place, adding and updating sports fixtures is simple and intuitive. Follow these steps to create, edit, and manage your venue’s upcoming fixtures.
Creating a New Sports Fixture
- Navigate to the Events Tab
- Log in to your My Place website by appending
/loginto your domain (e.g.,https://www.yourvenue.com/login). - Click on the Events tab from the navigation menu.
- **Click “Add Event” **
- At the top of the Events section, click the “Add Event” button to open the event creation panel.
- Select "Add Fixtures" in the Sports Fixtures box.
- Filter Fixtures
- Change Date: Use the date selector to change the results you see in the fixture list.
- Filter Button: Click the icon to the right of the date field to open additional filtering options. Filter by Sport type and league.
- ** Select one or more fixtures **
- Select one or more events that appear by clicking the checkbox beside the event name.
- Add Fixtures
- Click “Add Fixtures” button at the bottom to import your fixtures to your events list.
- The event will now appear in the Events tab, visible to your customers.
Editing an Existing Sporting Fixture
- Find the Fixture on your Events tab.
- Navigate to the Events tab.
- Locate the event you wish to edit.
- Click “Edit Event”
- Open the event and click the “Edit Event” button.
- Modify the event details, including name, description, image, date, or time.
- Save Changes
- Click “Save Changes” to update the event instantly.
Deleting a Sporting Fixture
- Go to the Event Page
- Find and open the event from the Events tab.
- Click “Edit Event”
- Scroll to the bottom of the edit panel and click “Delete Event”.
- Confirm deletion to remove the event permanently.
