Creating & Managing Forms


With My Place Pro, you can easily create forms that allow you to collect information from your users, such as feedback, bookings, contact details, or any other data. Forms help you stay organised, respond faster, and never miss an enquiry. Click here to upgrade your account and access forms.


❓Why website forms are useful:


Forms make it easy for visitors to get in touch with you directly through your website. They allow you to collect information in one place and respond when it suits you.


They can be used for:


  • Send us a message - general enquiries or questions.
  • Leave a review - collect feedback from customers.
  • Bookings or enquiries - gather key details before you follow up.
  • Contact details - capture names, emails, and preferences.


✍️ How to Create Forms


  1. Log in to your My Place website by appending /login to your domain (e.g., https://www.yourvenue.com/login).
  2. Click the pencil button in the bottom-right corner to open the edit panel.
  3. Select Forms from the top of the menu.
  4. Click Create a Form.
  5. Enter the name of your form e.g: Send us a message.
  6. Write a Description e.g: Please fill out the form below and we will get back to you shortly.
  7. Add Form Fields, these can be Text, Text Area, Number, Date Picker, Email, Telephone, Select (Options).
  8. Each Form Field has a tick box, tick this to make a field required.
  9. Click Save Changes to publish the form to your website.
  10. View the added form on your contact page. If you have more than one form on your website, these will appear as a dropdown button with your forms.


Managing Forms


🫂 View form data:


  1. Log in to your My Place website by appending /login to your domain (e.g., https://www.yourvenue.com/login).
  2. Click the pencil button in the bottom-right corner to open the edit panel.
  3. Select Forms from the top of the menu.
  4. Find the form you are wanting to view submissions from. If your form has been filled out, a number of submissions will show next to the name. Select the form.
  5. Scroll to view all submissions. Use the Show more button to view individual submissions.
  6. You can also manage submissisions using the mark as read button. Mark all as read by clicking the button located at the top of all submissions.


🗑️ Delete forms from your website:


  1. Log in to your My Place website by appending /login to your domain (e.g., https://www.yourvenue.com/login).
  2. Click the pencil button in the bottom-right corner to open the edit panel.
  3. Select Forms from the top of the menu.
  4. Click the pencil button to edit the form you want to delete.
  5. Select Delete Form, a pop up will appear to ask if you're sure - click Delete.
  6. Select Save Changes to remove the form to your website.
